Fun facts about golf

Hi guys, this is the last post so I decided to end it on a few fun facts.

The fun facts are: 

1) The longest driver ever recorded was amazingly 515 yards!!!
2) Golf balls were made of wood when people started to play golf in the 15th century.
3) "Al" Shepard Jr. took a 6 iron and hit a ball on the moon. 
4) Golf started off in Scotland in the 15th century
5) The odds of getting a hole in one are one in 64 million
6) The word Birdie came from Ab Smith who said that his shot was ' a bird of a shot' which shortly turned into birdie over time
6) The fastest round of 18 holes was 1 hour, 26 minutes and 44 seconds
7) Bob Cook holds the recorded for the longest putt which was 140-foot and 2 3/4 inches.
